This is the platform for the Earthquakes without Frontiers project, a consortium funded by the Natural Environment Research Council and the Economic and Social Research Council. The project brings together natural and social scientists from five UK universities as well as the Overseas Development Institute, British Geological Survey, National Centre of Earth Observation and the Institute of Hazard, Risk and Resilience, as well as collaborators in China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, India, Nepal, Greece, Turkey and Iran.
